EARLY CHILDHOOD - HOME BASED HEAD START
Families receive one home visit per week by a trained home visitor. In addition, center sessions are offered yeo times per month for socialization with other parents and children and transportation is provided. Provides parenting skills development and traditional scope of Head Start services: education, social services, health, and parent involvement. Ten percent of enrollment is reserved for those children who have professionally diagnosed disabilities. For those families, income guidelines may be waived. Once eligible, children can remain in Head Start for two years.
